POWER/ABILITIES . Hime has all the qualities of a porcelain doll, except she is able to move like a human does. She has the power to shrink her size as well as whatever she is touching. She also has a collection of dolls she can talk and interact with as if they were people. If she looks into your eyes, or vice-versa, she can do many things, such as telepathically speak to you and even make you feel a variety of feelings such as sick, sad, afraid, etc. It can be difficult to look away, but the more you maintain eye contact, the more soul she is able to devour.
POWER WEAKNESS AND AMPLIFIER . Weakness- Being Alone and Ignored. If she has no one to feast off of for a long period of time, her strength will deplete and reduce her back to a normal human. Amplifier- Soul Feeding via Eye Contact. This is the only way to keep herself ‘alive’.

The doll she carries around with her at all times was once her sister. Her sister was the only time she had ever done this and because of it, she vowed never to do it again unless it was absolutely necessary.

HISTORY . Born as Anju Akasaka, Hime grew up with her twin sister, Hana, in a small town just on the outskirts of Osaka, Japan. Life here was quiet and mundane. Everybody knew everyone and they all knew everything about anything that went on. Well -- almost anything.
It all started a little over 20 years ago when a woman, Naoko Akasaka, gave birth to twin girls. The birth was a surprise considering the doctors had only seen 1 baby, not 2 floating, around in her womb. The eldest Hana, was named after the things Naoko loved most: flowers. The second, her "miracle baby", was named Anju. There was no special reasoning, or even a meaning behind the child’s name. After all, she hadn't planned on naming two children, so she decided to name the child after the woman who had helped deliver her.
5 years later, on the evening of their birthday, they both received their very first dolls. They were made of porcelain and their details were so exquisite, they looked just like real people. Little Anju used to carry hers around with her everywhere she went, and soon became enchanted by all sorts of pretty things. 1 doll became 2, and 2 became 4. It wasn't long before her bedroom was brimming with little glass eyes that seemed to watch your every movement. Her mother was concerned. Anju seemed to be obsessed with her dolls, more than a normal child should be. The more time that passed, the more "doll-like" traits her daughter seemed to possess. It wasn‘t until Hana mysteriously disappeared that they began to think anything was seriously wrong.
To this day, they still set an extra place at the table in hopes that Hana would one day return. Little did they know that their missing daughter had never ‘left‘. Anju had made a pact; a deal with one of her dolls, and thus became a “monster” in the standards of society. She was thrilled with her new abilities and new talents until the night she ’killed’ her sister. I used the term loosely, because the fate she suffered is worse than that of death, yet you can hardly consider it ‘living’. During a small argument, one which all siblings have, her untamed powers spiraled out of control, turning her sister into a broken, decrepit doll. She still carries her around, sorry for what she had done in her moment of rage.
As Anju got older, she learned to control her powers and she learned how much of a persons soul she could take without consequence. She changed her name to Hime Ningyou, which roughly translates to “Princess of the Dolls“, and began to separate herself from her family, afraid that they might discover her secret and see the doll she clenched onto so tightly for who it really was. But being 20 and still obsessed with dolls was not healthy or sensible to her parents, not to mention she never attempted to find herself work, so they sent her away with all of her dolls to an asylum in America, hoping that one day she will return to Japan, alone.[/size][/ul]

[/color] . Hime’s body is hollow and contains the bits and pieces of souls she has consumed throughout the years. Most people don’t know she is sucking their soul out because they don’t feel a difference until they are far from Hime. This is sort of like when she is near a doll, the doll is able to move and speak. The souls she carries inside her allow her to breathe life into these otherwise-lifeless dolls. If she is around someone who she has previously feasted off of, they will feel energy returning to them, but it only lasts as long as they are near her.

Hime took off her headphones to listen as the lady dressed in blue reached for the intercom system.
“<We will be arriving in Waterville, Maine, America shortly. Please have your seats in an upright position and your tray tables stowed. The pilot will now turn on the ‘fasten seatbelt’ sign. The current time is 11:45pm. Skies are partly cloudy and the temperature is 23° Fahrenheit. Thank-you for flying with us today.>” She said in our native tongue and placed the intercom back on it’s hook.
Hime turned her head to look out her window and see the place she would be living for a while. The clouds still made a thin veil but through the breaks she could see small clusters of lights in a sea of black. She sighed at the sight before closing the shutter on her window and placing her headphones back in her ears. She held onto Hana, who was sitting on her lap, as she pressed the ‘play’ button and a voice began to speak.

“<Hello, welcome to ‘How to Learn English: Part Seven’. In this section, I will say a few essential phrases and you will repeat them. Are you ready? Repeat after me.> How kind of you to let me come.”

She listened intently and slowly mimicked the sounds as best as she could. “How kind… of you… to let me co-”
“<Good!>“ the voice interrupted.
Hime smiled and waited for the next instruction as she combed through Hana’s hair with her fingers.[/size][/ul][/color][/blockquote][/font][/blockquote]
