Personality
- Fear | Devon's fears that his kind will be eliminated in the future and his goals are simply to save as many as he can, while allowing them to still be themselves.
- Caring | He is a caring soul, he sees himself as the savior of the patients. Devon is humorous and flirty and with a trust winning smile. though deep behind his eyes is the pain of friends and loved ones lost.
- Dedicated | He remains single and dedicated to his job above all else and has been known to have his reasons and his secrets, and never sharing either. He tends to surround himself with work, and no one has ever seen him leave the hospital. there are rumors that he has even been so dedicated he seems to be almost in multiple places at once within the Asylum.
- Outgoing | He is not shy, and is quite outspoken, most of all he tends to be very observant. paying close attention to details rather than looking at the obvious. He is not a man of Faith. He talks often of a doctor when he makes time to drink. never a name just the man. The one responsibility for educating him.

HISTORY . Devon Knight was once a patient in these very walls. He was born in London and showed no signs of being any different from anyone else. Upon turning thirteen he discovered he was fast, inhumanely fast. When both his parents Died he ran away from the foster home he had been placed in and lived on the streets. Using his gift, he became a pick pocket and snatch and grab artist. he stole to provide for himself and a few friends he had living the same way, none of which knew about his abilities.
At the age of nineteen he stumble into a trap. one that slowed him to a virtual stop and even knocked him out. Waking up in these very walls. he was a unruly patient known only as Dash. He escaped a few times, only to be recaptured each time. once he exaughsted himself another Doctor here, provided him with an opportunity. Knowledge.
Devon was given a chance to learn and slowly earn a degree, his hunger for knowledge was insatiable, he continued to learn more and more, until he was taken to the third floor. There he under went a process that opened up a new potential, two actually. he continued to study and got got his doctorate in Genetics and algorithmic construction of Genetics.He now has returned on his own free will to continue the process performed on him, but with his aid he hopes to provide smoother transitions for patients with fewer losses.
Devon's closest friend and companion is a ball python that he sometimes has with him when he makes rounds. The snake is always calm and has never bitten or struck him or anyone else. the snakes name is MERLIN. Merlin was a gift from the very Doctor that started him on his education.[/size][/ul]

RP SAMPLE . The rain fell against the window in a steady heavy rhythm. Devon sat on his bunk, his hand on the back of his head. It had been 10 long years since he was here in this Building. Things had been different in those days. Back then he was on the outside looking in.
Devon had arrived early that morning and gotten signed in and was moved into his new office sweet. Meaning his new living accommodation. Having finished his doctorate he chose willingly to return to this project. .to this "place"
Devon stood and walked to the desk in his room, picking up the clip bored . it held the names of his new patients and his new duties within the Asylum. He began to look them over. as he did he pulled a cigarette from his pocket and lit it.
"good thing Doc Ivy cant complain about me smoking in here, shed have a cow."he thought. A satiating exhale of smoke left his lips as he set the clip board down. "Haven't even officially started and the crazy bitch has me running around like a crack head." he thought as he went back to his bed and layed down.
"All new Doctors in this place, at least I wont have to deal with the past; that's a small blessing." the past haunted him and this was a mild relief. the final thoughts as he slipped into a slumber. one that was restless as he tossed and turned.
