"I may never sleep tonight, As long as you're still burning bright."
Andrew unlocked his apartment, tossing his briefcase on the couch. Ivy would be over in just an hour, and he hadn't taken much care of his room. Andrew was the type who didn't sleep well alone. As cold and mean as he was, he did have areas of vulnerability, especially when it came to women. Any schooled psychiatrist would tell him it was because of his mother, but he'd never admit that.
All that being said, he hadn't slept in his bed since he last had a woman over, five days ago. Quickly, he threw clothes into the hamper and changed his sheets, making his king-size bed into a comfortable wonderland. Andrew never understood women and their obsession with fluffy things.
Once Andrew had his apartment neat, he lit a few scented candles to rid of the stale, unlived-in air. He changed into nice slacks and a comfortable but nice t-shirt, getting close to time. he'd done this so many times, never a missed step or a second blink. However, an air of nervousness fell about the room. Something was different about Ivy, and he still wasn't sure if he liked it. Calmly, he waited.
Ivy was taking off her shoes and unbuttoning her dress before she even stepped out of her car. She quickly threw it in park and stepped out, not bothering to kill the engine - she wouldn't be too long. She shouldered the door open and hurried through, only pausing momentarily to greet her adopted son, Daniel. The dark-haired, dark-eyed ten year old glanced away from the TV and smiled at her. "You not gonna be home tonight, Momma?" He called as she dissappeared into her bedroom.
"No honey, I got a date." A hot date. She was excited. Quickly she shed her dress and stepped into her favorite lingerie - she had modified it the night before to fit beneath her dress of choice.
She slid that slip of fabric on and glanced in the mirror, letting her fingers follow the large dip of fabric that showcased her bust and ended just above her navel. Her bustier was perfectly disguised and she purred in happiness - everything was going perfect. She pulled up her white thigh-highs and clipped them to her garter belt before slipping her feet into a pair of teal pumps and shrugging on a loose white cardigan. She smirked at her reflection; Dr. Ferris had no idea what he was in for.
Ivy stalked into her attached bathroom and touched up her hair and makeup before walking out. She paused once more by the living room where Daniel sat. "I probably wont be coming home tonight, be good for me please? There's pizza in the fridge, do your homework and chores. Don't break anything. Oh, and no parties, kay?" She grinned at him as he nodded, focused on his show. She trusted him - he'd lived on his own for years before she'd met him, he could handle a night by himself.
She stepped back outside to her gleaming 1969 electric blue Corvette Stingray. It purred as it idled and her smile grew to a grin, damn this was a great way to spend her night - headed over to a gorgeous man's house for hours of ecstasy. Ivy sat down into the plush leather seats and reversed down her driveway.
Ten minutes later, she swung into the parking lot of King's View Apartments in East Waterville, located his building and zipped into a parking spot. Heels clicked on the pavement as she stepped out into the cool air once more, this time grabbing her keys, and locking the doors. For apartment buildings, King's View was impressive in both size and architecture, but were they worth the outrageous cost?
Ivy pushed the thought from her mind and made her way toward his door. Her knuckles rapped lightly on the wood panel and she stepped back, waiting for him to answer.

"I may never sleep tonight, As long as you're still burning bright."
Andrew watched the clock, and when it got close to time, he made final adjustments. He brought out wine in an ice bucket, setting it out with two glasses on the balcony. Andrew was rather skilled in the art of charming women, though he was pretty confident he wouldn't need any help with Ivy. After the episode they'd had in the break room, he was sure it would be a quick show.
However, Andrew was hoping she'd stay all night. Every once in awhile, the more independent type women liked to leave after. He could understand that, but didn't like it. He liked to make at least some sort of connection, whether it was sleeping on complete opposite sides of the bed or curled up like lovers. Though, Andrew wasn't the type to get attached. He hated his constant vulnerability of not being able to sleep alone. So he dealt with it in the shallowest way he could: by using women, inviting them into his bed only to feed his selfish needs.
Andrew almost felt like Ivy knew that, like she was well aware. Before he could ponder any longer, however, when a light knock came to his door. His heart leaped into his throat, and he stood shocked a moment. Regaining his composure, Andrew swiftly walked to the door, swinging it open nonchalantly, hoping he didn't look overeager. "Good evening Ivy. Come in." His voice was low and comforting, his smile soft and compelling. He looked Ivy up and down, his eyes glued to the curvature of her body. He could've fallen over. She was dressed way hotter than he'd expected, and he wanted to get this show on the road.
Ivy raised her brow in amusement at Andrew's expression as he took in her outfit. Ego boost, right there. She smirked and stepped inside, already slipping her cardigans off of her shoulders. "So formal, Andrew." She teased softly, her accent heavy on his name.
She flicked the vibrant red mass of her hair over her shoulder and stepped further into his home, obviously not shy. She could handle herself no matter the situation. Teal eyes roamed the moderately-large bachelor pad, taking in the lit candles and the open patio door. Obviously he'd done some planning, it made her want to scoff - Men. They always jumped through such great hoops just to get a piece of ass.
Ivy never really understood why women would make a man beg just for a five-minute romp. It was senseless - give the man what he wanted and he'd keep coming back and pleasing you. It was a win-win situation for the woman, but 99% of the females in this world were such... prudes.

"I may never sleep tonight, As long as you're still burning bright."
Andrew chuckled lightly, taking her cardigan and hanging it up on the coat rack behind the door. "What's that supposed to mean?" He said with a laugh. He walked over to her, placing an arm around her waist. "Would you like some wine? I realize how charmingly cliche it is." He grinned, walking her to the balcony.
A grin fell across his face as he looked over her again. He was hoping things would speed up, though still wanted to keep a feel of romance. Even he couldn't understand that. His father did raise him to be chivalrous, and in a sense he still kept a small mentality for that. When he wasn't manipulating or raping women.
Andrew opened the wine, pouring some in both of their goblets. "So, Ivy, I'm glad you came over tonight." He hesitated a moment, attempting to not be quite so forward. "Look, let's try not to veil the real intentions of tonight. We both know why you're here." He grinned politely.
The cool autumn air whipped her hair back momentarily as she stepped onto to balcony. She smiled at Andrew, her red lips muted for the upcoming events - men usually didn't enjoy waking up with lipstick all over after a night of drinking and fun. Which is why what little lipstick she wore was perfectly sealed.
She was quite experienced in this department.
"I would love some wine. Charmingly cliche is not something I'm used to. I think I kinda like it." She lifted the glass to her lips and purred at the scent. It wasn't the finest wine she'd ever seen, but it definitely wasn't cheap. He seemed to be really trying to make this into something more than it was. It was sex. He was making it romantic.
And she found she really didn't mind. As long as he didn't come out and say he wanted a serious relationship with her, she'd be good.
The wine was smooth and tart in her mouth as she drank and an errant thought crossed her mind - She wasn't being careful enough. This man could have drugged the drink at any time, yet here she was drinking like nothing was wrong.
What was going on with her? It wasn't like her to be so careless. She didn't trust this man.
Her eyes locked onto him, waiting for him to take a sip of his own wine and looking for any sign that he'd done anything to the bottle.
But when he spoke, she was snapped out of her paranoia and smiled at him once again, "Of course I know why I'm here. I have no delusions of grandeur. Shall we speed things up?" She set down the wine glass and leaned on the balcony railing, expectant.
She hoped that they could get on with it - all this cliche business was starting to make her nervous.
Ivy hated being out of her element. All she wanted was this man naked and moving beneath her, lost in the heat of passion.

"I may never sleep tonight, As long as you're still burning bright."
Andrew took a long drink of his wine, watching her with a small smirk. She took a deliciously long time to speak, keeping him on edge for a short moment. As she leaned back on the railing, he straightened up. He set his glass down, slowly leaning towards her. "If that's what you want." His voice was low and gravely, speaking to her in almost a whisper.
Andrew walked to her, placing a hand on either side of her on the railing. He grinned down at her, his lips just inches from hers. "Is this what you want?" He placed his lips on hers for a quick moment, just a tease of what was to come. He pulled away slightly, enough to watch her react.
His hands fell to her hips, a slow static coming off of her body. He leaned his body in towards her, saying nothing. His eyes held hers, waiting for her to make any sort of move. Sexual tension flooded through his veins, his body electric with the heat she gave off. He wanted nothing but her, though he hesitated to tear her to pieces.
