HISTORY . When Garrick was born, he was placed in an orphanage. No one knows where he came from or how he came to be. He just kind of showed up on the door step of the orphanage and lived there until he was 18. He often found that kids and adults could get hurt and sick easilly. This encouraged him to be a doctor.
After that, He went to nursing school on a scholarship because he couldn't afford to go to a higher degree on the money he got. So he settled for that instead, for the time being. After attending nursing school, and having graduated with his license, he tried to find any facility that would pay for him to go to school. That's where the Asylum comes into play.
The Asylum agreed to pay for his schooling if he promised to work there the entire time he was in school, and five years after that. So he now spends his days at the asylum, going to school, and nearly regretting the decision he made to do so. That is the only reason he stays, becuase his schooling, and very future, relies on it.
