The young female doctor seemed to calm a bit, and she had escorted female patient to the exit.
"I can get on it straight away."
This seemed interesting to her. A doctor helping a patient.
Ana didn't like the sound of this at all. It seemed off beat.
This particular daydream was a bit ironic.
The big doors fell open with a silent squeak, and they pushed their way through them.
Animosity though that this particular patient would be interesting to befriend, but she couldn't differentiate who it was.
This enraged the little patient. She jerked back and her neck snapped to the female. She did not just assume she couldn't handle her own power, did she?
"How dare you. You make pathetic assumptions about the patients here. We're not just put in here to 'get help'. Some of us were placed here because we were unwanted! You can't just pretend we're normal humans with no problems, we're people with special gifts. Some came from our family lines, others were developed over time. But don't you EVER assume we don't understand or even know how to control our powers. I've got mine in check, because if I didn't, everyone in this wretched hell hole would be dead!"
The patient turned on her heels and started to walk off the another place.
She didn't care where, just away from that female.
This patient would've killed the doctor if she had not walked away. Animosity snapped back to her reality in the tiny den. The television was all static and nothing else.
She threw herself up off the couch and walked her way over to it. She slammed her fist into the side of it a few times and a picture came through. It's not that she wanted to watch anything, she just wanted some noise other the crashing sound of the static. That drove her crazy.
Looking at the clock, Ana noticed it was only 2:37 in the afternoon. Lunch was already served and the patients could do whatever they wanted until lock down.
She walked back over to the couch, made herself sit so hard it made a thumping noise against the scratchy concrete, and she propped her feet on the table. She was wearing jeans with hole in them and a crimson halter top. She didn't have any shoes on, because she preferred not to wear them at all. Her long sunny locks were in a low ponytail with her bangs framing her face.
Ana heard someone walking down the hallway. She listened carefully but couldn't tell who it was. She only prayed it was the female from the daydream she captured just moments ago.
